Underground River Tour

The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park also know as Puerto Princesa Underground River is a protected area of the Philippines and was officially included in the New 7 Wonders of Nature back in 2012. This river is second longest navigable underground river in the world next to Sistema Sac Actun.

This is a whole day tour where in you will drive an at least 1 1/2 hour from the city. Aside from the paddle boat ride going inside the cave, you will also take a motorized boat going to the park and back to the port area. Buffet lunch is serve as well for this tour.

Other activities would be possible if majority of your group wants to do side trip; zipline, caving, spelunking, etc.

Program and Itinerary

This tour package has an approximate duration of 8 hours. You will find the main events and activities programmed for this tour listed below. Note that itinerary may vary depending on the number guests or volume of the guest entering the cave and also depends on the weather.

6:30-9:00 AM Pickup for the guest joining the group are usually by batch. Earliest pickup would be at around 6:30 in the morning or 9:00 in the morning the latest depending on the location of your pickup point or your hotel. Please note that SOMETIMES there is latency with the pickup, guest needs to be ready on the advised pickup time so the group can follow the ideal itinerary.

There is a queue in boarding a motorized boat going to the park. Boarding is based on first come, first serve basis. NOTE: All guest are required to pay for an Environmental Fee of P150/person (one time payment for Puerto Princesa Tours).

All guest who wish to enter the cave are required to secure their cave permits. Guests are provided with an audio device that they can wear during the cave tour , where in they will be able to hear all the important information and details they need to learn about the cave. The cave tour is approx. 45 minutes in and out.

Buffet lunch is included in this group tour package. Variation of meat, chicken, vegetables, fruits and drinks are served to cater all the guest.
