Private Cave Exploration Tour

Discover the most beautiful geological formations in El Nido with a private Cave Exploration Tour. This four hour tour takes you to explore two beautiful caves and the most beautiful sandbar in Bacuit Bay. On your private boat, you will sail on turquoise waters, amidst the islands and their limestone cliffs.

On Snake Island, you will discover the sandbar that connects Vigan Island to the main island of Palawan. You can walk there at low tide, and visit the tropical island with its coconut trees and wildlife. At Cudugnon Cave, you will enter the cave system and discover its stalactites and stalagmites. Finally, at Cathedral Cave, you will enter a beautiful water cave.

This private tour complies with the latest safety measures put in place by the Municipality of El Nido and the Department of Tourism (DOT). Snorkel equipment cannot be provided for this reason and guests are invited to purchase their own ahead of the tour. Also, the crew is not allowed to cook for the guests but you can bring your own snacks.

Program and Itinerary

This half-day tour package has an approximate duration of 4 hours. You will find the main events and activities programmed for this tour listed below.

8:00 AM You will be picked up at your hotel in El Nido proper town or Corong-Corong and brought to the beach to board your boat. Around 8:30 AM, it should already be sailing to your first destination!

9:00 AM Our first stop is in a famous spot is in Vigan Island, one of the famous spot of Bacuit Bay. You'll discover the sandbar that gave it's nickname to the place: Snake Island. You'll be able to walk on it or to relax on the beach and admire the beauty of the landscape.

10:00 AM Our second stop is in Cudugnon Cave, a natural formation accessible only through a hole in the cliff. Inside, you'll discover three rooms that have been inhabited throughout history. The legend says that during World War 2, Japanese soldiers hid a treasure inside…

11:00 AM Our last stop is at Cathedral Cave, where you can admire a magnificent geological formation where land and water meet. This cave gets its name from its height and majesty. You can visit it while swimming and snorkeling nearby.
