Coron Island Escapade Tour

The Coron Island Escapade is a whole day tour which takes you across the Culion straight and into a group of islands teeming with natural wonders. As your boat passes a natural channel you will see the pearl farms of the nearby islands and the seaweed plantations being harvested by the local community. Destinations of this tour include Malcapuya Island, Banana Island, and Bulog Dos Island.

Program and Itinerary

This tour package has an approximate duration of 8 hours. You will find the main events and activities programmed for this tour listed below.

8:00 AM You will pick up by Van and 15 minutes van transfer from the hotel to boat docking area.

9:00 AM Malcapuya Island is one of the most idyllic islands near Coron. This small destination is sparsely populated, offering visitors an unbeatable tropical experience. Lounging on the beach while our boatmen cooked our lunch. Activities: kayaking, swimming and snorkeling on the clear water and white sand beach of Malcapuya, snorkel and visit the cultured giant clams.

1:00 PM Banana Island is a bit more serene and interesting than Bulog Dos, but the beach isn’t as nice. Since we just came from snorkeling, we busied ourselves with swimming by the shore. There’s a volleyball net on the shore if you feel like sweating it out a bit under the midday sun. Activities: kayaking, swimming and snorkeling on the clear water and white sand beach of Banana Island.

3:00 PM The beach part of the island is small, but once we got a peak of the marine life underwater, it became easy to understand why anyone would want to buy this tiny parcel of beach and limestone rocks. We paddled our way around the main rock of Bulog Dos, over vast areas of sea grass and into the deeper parts, where the most colorful corals and fish I’ve seen can be found. Activities: Swimming and snorkeling on the white sand beach of Bulog Dos Island, explore the island.

4:30 PM You Transfer Back at your hotel.
